COM 344 News Package

For my Investigative Journalism class of my senior year in college, we had to write various radio news packages. This specific one was a medium length news package, with a topic of your choice. The class was separated into news groups, airing various news packages or shorter news stories on our college radio station, WCUC-FM 91.7. The news package I wrote covers various student-run organizations within Eagle Media. Eagle Media is an organization within the communications department of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where students can gain experience in the field.

It was required to record and edit the full news package with sound clips and sound effects that we chose to use. I decided to use Audacity to edit and export mine. To listen to the audio version, click here.
